Its a new chapter for the Bluewater District School Board’s Specialist High Skills Major Agriculture Program who celebrate the new Grey Roots location.
An open house held on Thursday showed a first hand look at the programs new location at Grey Roots Museum and Archives in Owen Sound.
Running the program for the last 20 years on a plot of land beside Chesley District Community School, board and Grey County staff worked together to launch the pilot at Grey Roots.
BWDSB Superintendent of Education Keith Lefebvre says they are pleased to celebrate new beginnings and a promising road ahead for the SHSM Agriculture program in Ag-friendly facilities provided by their Grey Roots partners.
