OPP Say Road Safety is Shared Between Drivers and Pedestrians

South Bruce OPP is reminding residents that road safety is a shared responsibility between drivers and pedestrians.

South Bruce OPP say drivers need to be aware of pedestrian traffic walking along roads at dusk, dawn and in the dark.

OPP say to always be alert and to share the roadways offering tips for pedestrians to stay safe.

Tips include to always be seen by traffic and walk against traffic so you can see what’s coming, always be highly visible, remain alert and walk with a partner.
