Upgrades at the Walkerton Tennis Courts are complete with new fencing, lighting, resurfacing and the addition of three new pickle-ball courts being done.
The project which started construction last summer was supported by council and the community which was funded by many donations by service clubs and businesses through a campaign speared by the Parks and Recreation Sub-Committee as well as from proceeds of the sale of the Armoury Building.
Colleen Gillis, Director of Community Services says the upgrades will provide opportunities within the community to continue to meet the growth of these popular sports.
