Coming at a time when the province introduces alcohol sales to corner stores this summer, the Beer Store will be allowed to sell lottery tickets under the new agreement.
In May, Doug Ford announced the expansion of alcohol sales as early as September 5th which will add in The Beer Store to expand what they can sell in their stores.
Liquor sales will keep to the LCBO with cannabis and tobacco only being available at licensed dispensaries and convenience stores respectively.
