A human trafficking investigation by OPP has resulted in multiple arrests and dozens of charges.
Among the victims were three individuals who at the time they were trafficked were underage.
Dubbed Project Uptown launched in October 2022 five victims were identified, six people were arrested with 81 charges laid, More than 30 grams of illicit substances were recovered alongside a firearm.
During investigation police found a female victim had been trafficked throughout Ontario by eight separate male parties since 2014.
