Grey Bruce OPP are investigating a break and enter at the former hospital in Markdale.
On July 2nd OPP investigated a report of a break and enter at the hospital on Isla Street which has been closed since 2023.
Police attended the scene and noticed there was damage in the building with items stolen from the property with damage exceeding $100,000.
Stolen items included copper piping, a Milwaukee 18 volt drill, a Milwaukee 18 volt impact driver, two ridge pipe wrenches and other tools.
This marks the 2nd time the hospital has been broken into with the first being in October last year.
