Central Huron is accepting nominations for the Outstanding Youth Awards which looks to recognize a youth aged 13-16 who has made an impact in the municipality.
The award recognizes youth achievements who display positive contributions and service to the community, acts of kindness or multiple good deeds in the community, being the unsung hero who makes their neighbourhood better and recognition for a youth on their overall outstanding community service, dedication and commitment to improving the quality of life for all of Central Huron.
Nominations will be accepted until September 2nd.
The award will be presented by Mayor and council with the winner also receiving a certificate of merit and $200.
