The Community Safety and Well-Being Planning Mental Health Action Table continue to work on addressing the mental health needs of community members across Grey-Bruce.

Across the region, Brightshores Health System recently opened a new facility to support individuals dealing with addictions and mental health needs.

The centre is complete with 21 withdrawal management beds, 14 relapse prevention and treatment beds and 10 supportive studios for longer term stays.

The project is among the first of its kind in the region and will provide a safe environment for those in need of support and management of their substance use and mental health concerns.
