Bruce Power has signed a $700 million contract for the replacement of steam generators in the remaining MCR outages for Units 5, 7 and 8.
The Steam Generator Replacement Team, a joint venture between Aecon and SGT has signed the contract to replace the generators with the phase to start in 2027 in line with the Bruce Power MCR program.
Laurent Seigle, Executive Vice-President of Projects says they look forward to continuing to deliver on their MCR projects to bring their renewed units back online in order to provide clean energy for the people of Ontario for decades to come.
