As students head back to the classroom next week, Huron County OPP has successfully partnered up with the Town of Goderich, Municipality of Central Huron and the Avon Maitland District School Board making an application in 2023 to the Ministry of the Solicitor General Front-Line Policing Grant.
The grant supports the enhancement to traffic and public safety with increased police around schools in Goderich and Central Huron.
Over the next several months the public can expect and increased police presence around schools in the area promoting community engagement and safety through education and enforcement.
