OPP are warning drivers as we gear closer to the fall, you can expect to see deer become more active.
Police say they are responding to more crashes involving deer across the area who are starting to come out.
OPP are asking drivers to take precautions and stay alert for deer crossing the roadways, mainly at dawn and dusk when visibility is more reduced.
Police say to be alert, use your high beams when possible, use your horn, maintain a safe distance and to avoid swerving if you see a deer in your path.
