The Nuclear Innovation Institute has received $211,600 in funding, kicking off the 2024 Clean Energy Frontier Conference.
The funding as part of the Rural Economic Development Program supports projects which diversify and grow local economies, build community capacity and address barriers to economic development and labour force challenges.
This level of funding will be used for renovations and upgrades to the NII Advance Technology Campus in Kincardine.
Stellina Williams, NII Vice President and CEO says they are dedicated to fostering collaboration and partnerships that prepare workforces for tomorrow.
