Bruce County’s Emergency Management Program has made updates to its emergency response plan.
The county says while Bruce County is a safe place to live, work and play, emergencies can happen anywhere at anytime.
The Bruce County Emergency Response Plan describes how the County coordinates with lower tier municipalities and external partner organizations to respond to emergencies before they happen, during an emergency and afterwards for recovery.
Emergency management in Bruce County requires a coordinated response between many different types of organizations which includes lower tier municipalities, First Nation communities, neighbouring counties and other public sectors organizations such as school boards and hospitals.
