An observant citizens call to police has led to an impaired driving charge against a 58 year old man.

On September 14th just after 9pm Huron County OPP stopped a vehicle after someone became concerned about the driving of a vehicle ahead of them in Goderich.

The vehicle was seen heading westbound on Huron Road in Central Huron and eventually into Goderich where police stopped the driver.

Police conducted a roadside screen device test which resulted in a failure.

The driver was taken in for breath tests where it was found he was twice the legal limit.

The 58 year old of Elmsley Township was charged with Operation while Impaired and will appear in Goderich court later this month.
