Huron County OPP say a relative to one of two men who went missing in 1967 has come forward with police hoping to find more.

On October 22nd, 1967, police received a missing persons report of two men who left for a fishing trip off the Port of Goderich and we’re never seen again.

Neil Wormsbecker and Hank Englebertus Halff of Stratford were aged 29 and 30 when they went missing in Lake Huron.

Earlier this month police appealed to the public to locate biological family members of the men with one relative for Hank coming forward.

Police are still looking for any remaining biological family members for Neil and provide a DNA sample to compare against all samples of found human remains in the DNA database.
