The Davidson Centre in Kincardine was home to the Afro Caribbean Youth awards this past Saturday.
The annual awards is the recognition and celebration of Afro Caribbean youth in Grey and Bruce which welcomed several speakers such as Phillip Saunders who is the creator of the Afrocentric mural at the Davidson Centre.
Multiple award winners were recognized including Adriana Owusu-Ansah and Xavier Hyre named the Bruce Power Leadership Awards who both will receive $2500 from Bruce Power to support their education and continue their journey in leadership and service.
