The first Huron-Kinloss Jack-o-Lantern Trail turned out to a massive success.

Held on Friday in Ripley at the Bruce Botanical Food Gardens saw 90 people come out.

More than 100 Jack-o-Lanterns were donated from Ripley, Point Clark and Lucknow to fill the gardens and keep the pumpkins from ending up in landfills or rotting at doorsteps.

These pumpkins will be repurposed and feed local livestock.
