This year will mark the 106th Ringing of the Peace Bell to commemorate Remembrance Day.

On November 11th, 1918, World War I ended and the bells rang across Canada.

The ceremony will be complete with Legion Flag Bearers in attendance as well as local vocalists, musicians and pipers preforming memorable songs.

Mike Chreptyk, Elder at Knox Presbyterian Church says this is a great event to attend to honour the fallen, especially for those who might not make it out to an 11am ceremony on Monday.

“We invite everybody who cannot attend an 11am service at the Legion to come to our ceremony. It’s an remembrance ceremony and I can assure you it will be a memorable event.” said Chreptyk.

The Peace Bell ceremony will start at 7pm on Remembrance Day taking place at the church.
