United Way Bruce Grey and the Community Foundation of Grey Bruce is calling on the community to support local charities who face unprecedented challenges during the Canada Post strike.
The disruption in the postal service has seen a delay in donations leaving many community programs underfunded during a time when its needed the most.
Many charities rely on mail campaigns for fundraising and with the disruption of service making it more difficult for groups to maintain critical services.
Residents if they can are encouraged to support by dropping off donations in person or donate online.
