The Municipality of Kincardine through Councillor for Ward 1 Beth Blackwell provided an update on the reconstruction project for Bruce Avenue from Wieck to Highway 21.
In the post Councillor Blackwell asks for patience in the project as unplanned delays pushed the project past its initial contracted completion date.
The plan is to still lay an initial layer of asphalt and reopen the road as soon as possible.
There will be an official announcement from the Municipality once it is safe for people to utilize the road.
Spring 2025 is when final remediation work will be completed, which includes the final asphalt lift.
