OPP are assisting Hanover Police with a homicide investigation which has resulted in one person being arrested.
On December 17th at around 8:50am, Hanover Police responded to an incident on 5th Street in Hanover where one person was found deceased when police arrived.
During investigation a vehicle was observed in the Owen Sound area with one person being arrested.
Investigation is still in its early stages and residents around 5th Street should see an increased police presence but there is no threat to public safety.
