Two people have been charged after the death of an infant in Saugeen First Nation.
On March 26th 2023, Grey Bruce OPP responded to call with the Saugeen Fire Department and Bruce County Paramedics to an unresponsive infant at a home on Scotch Settlement Road.
The nine month old infant was taken to hospital but pronounced dead.
A 33 year old of Saugeen Shores and 28 year old of Saugeen First Nation have been charged with Criminal Negligence Causing Death.
Both were held in custody pending a bail hearing who appeared in court on Tuesday.
