A heavy police presence in Georgian Bluffs has ended peacefully with one person taken into custody.
West Grey OPP, West Region Tactics and Rescue, Crisis Negotiators and West Region Emergency Response all answered a call of a barricaded person in Sussex Square.
Police got the call at around 5:50am on Thursday with the individual involved had refused to come out but was later taken into custody without incident.
No charges were laid in the incident with the individual not being named due to concerns for their well being.
There was no threat to public safety.
