Tom Rice and Sonya Mount will both be receiving a King Charles III Coronation Medal.
Both are being honoured for their contributions to the community with a ceremony for both taking place on March 31st at the YMCA in Owen Sound.
Rice has been a key figure in the community who co-chaired the $6.3 million YMCA Capital Campaign for the Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre while Sonya Mount also was a key contributor to supporting the campaign.
In a release the YMCA says both Tom and Sonya’s exceptional leadership has left a lasting legacy which will continue to benefit the YMCA and wider community for years to come.
