In an effort to address the affordable housing crisis and its relation with Saugeen Shores an info session is being held around the topic.
Hosting by United Housing for All, a presentation is being held with a Q&A following with United Housing, Habitat for Humanity, United Way and more.
Nine speakers will be in attendance for the event taking place on May 1st.
Mini Jacques, Chair for United Housing for All says she hopes those trying to find housing and those looking at builds coming in will attend and learn.
“Some people hear of the list and go ‘I’m never getting housing’ we’d like those people to come out and listen and see what resources are available to them. We’re hoping neighbours, co-workers and friends will come out. You may have a house but maybe you need to be a little more sympathetic to builds going on in the area.” said Jacques.
The event will take place on Thursday going from 7-9pm at the Port Elgin United Church.
