Huron County is urging the public to take action and have a plan as part of Emergency Preparedness Week.
Running until May 10th, the week is a national initiative led by Public Safety Canada encouraging Canadians to take action to better prepare themselves and their households.
David Wagner, Community Emergency Management Coordinator for Huron County says by taking a few simple steps, knowing the risks, making a plan and building an emergency kit, residents can significantly improve their ability to respond and recover.
