Grey County has welcomed Randy Scherzer as the next CAO.
Scherzer who held the role of Deputy CAO and has been a long time senior staff member took on the role of CAO on May 5th.
Randy first joined the County as a planner in 2002 and was then named Director of Planning in 2010 and then Deputy CAO in 2021.
In a release, Scherzer says taking on the role is an incredible honour adding he is confident in his and fellow staff’s ability to continue moving forward council’s priorities and continuing to make a positive impact on Grey County communities.
