The Municipality of Arran-Elderslie is gearing up for Goods Exchange Day taking place on Saturday.
The community wide initiative helps locals reduce and reuse materials.
Residents are welcome to place any usable and unwanted household items at the curb of their driveway for others in the area to take.
Suggested items include furniture, clothing, sporting goods, toys and more.
The municipality says the best way to identity these items for the day would be to clearly mark them with a FREE sign.
Items not picked up at the end of the day will remain as the property owner’s responsibility as municipal staff will not collect any leftover goods.
