Golf Cart Operator Charged with Impaired Operation

Driving around in a golf cart while you’ve been drinking is still operating impaired.

On June 22nd at around 1:20am Huron County OPP spotted a golf cart being driven with no lights on around Victoria Street North in Goderich.

Officers spoke with the driver and found he had been drinking but had just the day prior been given a 3 day licence suspension for registering a WARN on a breathalyzer.

The 40 year old of St Clements has been charged with Operation While Impaired and Driving Under Suspension.

The accused will appear in court later this month.
