Brockton is up next to issue a partial ban on open air fires given the dry conditions in the area.
The partial ban applies to agricultural, brush and derelict buildings until further notice with burn permits being suspended until further notice.
Recreational campfires used for cooking and warmth are still permitted so long as it is in compliance with Brockton’s Open Air Burn Bylaw.
