The next household hazardous waste event for Bruce County is heading to Lucknow next weekend.
The event on September 6th will be held at the Bruce County Transportation Yard.
Running from 8am-12pm, this allows residents to clear out any household hazardous material they have in their home, garage or basement and make sure its handled responsibly.
Items accepted include batteries, antifreeze, oil filters, fire extinguishers and pool chemicals while industrial, commercial and agricultural waste will not be accepted.
