The Grey Sauble Conservation Foundation has awarded $2000 to Kamyla Fisher who is heading to the University of Guelph to study Environmental Engineering.

The foundation every year awards one graduating secondary school student who is pursuing post secondary studies in an environmental or resource management related field and honours Malcolm Kirk, a dedicated conservationist who played a key role in acquiring much of the land now owned and managed by the conservation authority.

Kamyla developed a deep sense of environmental responsibility through professional and personal experiences and has actively contributed to local initiatives.
