Due to recent damage, a bridge near Chesley has been closed as an inspection is done.
The 12th of Brant Bridge on Concession 12 between Sideroad 5 and Bruce Road 19 near Chesley has been closed due to the damage.
As a precaution, the bridge has been closed until a structural inspection can be done to determine whether the bridge is still safe for public use.
During this time posted signage for a detour is in place and users are asked to follow the signage and allow for extra travel time.
