The Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre is shining a light on impacts of the residential school system with a new exhibition.
The exhibition which started on Monday called the Legacy of Hope Foundation: A National Crime – The Residential School System, Local Saugeen Ojibway Nation Impacts. looks over the impacts of seven generations attending residential schools across Canada and the shared stories.
Done in partnership with the Legacy of Hope Foundation, Saugeen First Nation and Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation which includes photos, documents and personal accounts illustrating what took place through the Residential School System.
The exhibition will be available for view until November 30th.
