A near $25,000 grant has been put to good use for the Allenford Curling Club.
The Ontario Trillium Foundation grant of $24,900 for the club was given in 2024 to enhance the 115 year old club.
The money was used to refurbish the curling stones and provide training for four ice technicians and four club coaches and helped the club to have membership with Curling Ontario for two years.
Richard Graham, Chair of the Board for the Allenford Curling Club says this initiative has helped to prepare the club for continued success and be the local hub for the community.
