The Wingham & District Hospital Foundation is celebrating another big year for Giving Tuesday in partnership with Lucknow Pharmasave.
On December 2nd, Lucknow Pharmasave offered a $10,000 matching gift for the day with their giving event and the community came out, raising a total of $52,175 in support of local healthcare.
This year’s Big Match proceeds went towards the purchase of a bone density scanner for the Wingham hospital and will be fully funded and is anticipated to be operational next month.
Pharmacist Dionne Smith says this was a meaningful way to give back and support the overall health of the community.
