The Grey Sauble Conservation Authority is getting a boost from the Greenbelt Foundation for their Echoes of the Marsh project to protect at risk turtle species in Bognor Marsh.

This project is aimed at protecting turtle species, specifically the common snapping turtle and painted turtle in the Bognar Marsh, a vital property in the Greenbelt.

This announcement comes during a milestone year as the Foundation celebrates its 20th anniversary of the Ontario’s Greenbelt.

The GSCA says they are proud to contribute to this legacy through on-the-ground conservation within one of the Greenbelt’s ecologically significant wetlands.
