The Municipality of Kincardine has adopted the 2026 budget.
The budget will comes with a 2.88 per cent tax rate increase which for an average home assessment at $275,000 will equal out to around $74 per year or $1.43 per week.
The budget will help maintain existing programs and services while also investing in critical infrastructure.
This year’s budget includes investments such as upgrades to water and wastewater treatment systems, road paving, culvert replacements and bridge repairs constriction of the All Wheel Park at the Davidson Centre.
