It’s more support for the Alexandra Marine & General Hospital with a $500,000 pledge over the next five years from Britespan Building Systems.
With this donation, $1,779,124 has been raised of the $6.5 million campaign goal of their Magnetic Moments Capital Campaign.
The campaign aims to raise $6.5 million to bring and MRI machine to the hospital, the first in Huron County.
While fundraising continues, crews within the hospital are busy with site visits from two short list vendors with visits scheduled through mid-March.
Once the contracts and agreements are signed, the senior leadership team will announce the vendor and work with the vendor and architects on final design and construction documents, which will take about three to four months.
