An Owen Sound resident is doing his happy dance, cashing in on $1 million in last month’s Ontario 49 draw.
Beverly matched all seven Encore numbers in order in the February 11th draw claiming the $1 million prize.
The retiree has been playing the lottery for about five years who says he always adds Encore to his tickets.
He found out he was a big winning the day after purchasing his ticket who has a friend who regularly calls and reads the winning numbers over the phone.
With his $1 million prize, Beverly says he intends to travel to Newfoundland, buy a new car and treat former work friends to a nice lunch.
The winning ticket was purchased at Shoppers Drug Mart on 10th Street in Owen Sound.
