Alan Smith has been named as the next Chief Administrative Officer of Kincardine.
Smith brings in over 20 years of senior leadership experience in local government in Ontario and British Columbia who currently is the CAO for Kirkland Lake in Northern Ontario.
On top of his role in Kirkland Lake, Smith has held senior roles with the Village of Masset and County of Elgin.
Mayor Kenneth Craig says Smith’s extensive experience in municipal leadership combined with his collaborative approach and commitment to public service he will be a tremendous asset.
Smith will officially join the municipality on July 20th.
