Jason Munro Named Councilor at Large in Kincardine

Kincardine council has named Jason Munro to the vacant position of councilor at large.

The vacancy in council comes following the resignation of Deputy Mayor Andrea Clarke back in April with a seat becoming vacant after appointing Councilor Mike Hinchberger as Deputy Mayor.

Applications were being taken until May 15th with eligible applicants being required to submit the prescribed forms and an expression of interest outlining their background, qualifications and interest in serving on council.

Munro will hold the term of office until the end of the current council term on November 14th.
