Grey Bruce OPP have charged four people with firearms and drugs being seized following a traffic stop.
On June 7th at around 8:36pm, Grey Bruce OPP were on patrol on Margaret Elizabeth Avenue in Grey Highlands when a plate reader alerted to a vehicle indicating a Highway Traffic Act offence.
A stop was done with the odour of cannabis detected leading to investigation. A search of the vehicle found a 9mm pistol and 36 grams of suspected cocaine and 37 grams of suspected fentanyl.
4 people ranging from the ages of 19-22 all of Brampton were hit with possession charges and possession of a loaded restricted firearm.
All were held for a bail hearing.
