A series of charges have been laid from a four day commercial motor vehicle blitz in Grey Bruce.
Taking place from June 1st-3rd and June 5th, Police services across the region including Grey-Bruce OPP, Hanover Police and Saugeen Shores Police conducted the blitz with the Ministry of Transportation with a focus on traffic safety and ensuring compliance.
Over the blitz, officers inspected a total of 95 CMV’s with 81 charges laid and 41 vehicles deemed unsafe.
Violations included mechanical deficiencies, improper documentation and other safety related infractions.
