The Town of Hanover has named Andrew Wilken as the next Chief Administrative Officer.

Hanover Council with the help of Waterhouse Executive Search completed the recruitment process with Wilken assuming the role on October 5th.

Wilkin currently serves as the town’s Director of Development and Infrastructure as well as Chief Building Official who has advanced his municipal skills, knowledge and leadership since joining the town in 2021.

Mayor Sue Patterson says Wilkin brings a solid understanding of the pressures facing the town including growth, infrastructure needs, service expectations, fiscal responsibility and strong relationships with council, staff, Grey County, local municipalities and residents.

Wilkin replaces CAO Sherri Walden who will be retiring at the end of December.
