The Huron County Chamber of Commerce is turning to the business community for input on new US tariffs.

As Donald Trump has announced new tariffs on Canadian exports, the additional 50 per cent tariff could take effect August 19th but these could still be changed, suspended or withdrawn.

The products include alcohol, automotive and dairy and beyond.

Businesses in Huron County are being encouraged to complete an online form if they expect direct or indirect effects involving exports, supply chains, customers, contracts, pricing, employment or investment.

This information will support the Huron Chamber’s discussions with governments, economic development partners and the chamber network.
