Bruce County is expanding services and support offered to residents with the launch of a new mobile multidisciplinary team.
The team with the Community Outreach and Support Team or COAST will provide care and support for those needing mental health, addiction and housing needs.
Coast will operate across Bruce County including most rural communities.
Coast will help track local drug poisonings and provide targeted intervention, host routine pop up outreach events and assist in making contact and provide care.
Ian Hanney, Director of Human Services says through COAST they are expanding their ability to reach individuals who need assistance and being another important step to improving outcomes for some of Bruce County’s most vulnerable residents.
