As truck traffic returns to normal, Bruce County has completed the work of the Durham Street Bridge Rehabilitation Project.
This includes phase 2 of the Durham Street Bridge project, now open for two way traffic with both sidewalks on the bridge opening back up.
All weight restrictions have been lifted and now alternate truck routes removed.
This project has marked a significant investment in county infrastructure, enhancing safety, functionality and long term service life of the bridge and surrounding corridor and supporting movement of residents, businesses and commercial traffic.
