Heading into the next municipal election, there are plenty of those seeking the Mayor title in Midwestern Ontario.
The nomination period closed Friday afternoon as campaigning has begun with the election taking place October 26th.
Trevor Bazinet will be competing with Steve Buchanan for the role of Mayor in Goderich.
In Saugeen Shores Luke Charbonneau seeks re-election while Brian Putman and Jeff James have also put their names in the hunt for Mayor.
For Kincardine its a 3 way battle with Kenneth Craig, Bill Stewart and Barb Fisher and in North Huron, Mitch Wright, Trevor Seip, William Darling and Stephen Hill seek the role of Reeve.
