The Town of Goderich is taking a unique approach to deal with invasive vegetation at Sunset Park with the use of goats.

Goat grazing begins at the park on September 14th to manage the invasive vegetation along the water infrastructure corridor with this approach aimed to help improve access to critical water infrastructure and support environmental stewardship.

The town says once the grazing is complete the area will then be seeded with native plants and help stabilize the slope and encourage healthy vegetation growth.
